What a spectacular drive 345 miles it was. Best achieved by listening to Nessun Dorma, Red River Rock, and of course, Pete Seger's This Land is Your Land, and John Denver's Take Me Home Country Road. With regard to the latter, John Denver composed and debuted that song at the Cellar Door in Washington in December 1970 when I used to go there quite frequently at the time.
