Just now leaving Memesloose state park on the Columbia River. Great Park. Wise decision on my part to bivouac here for the night.
On the advice of Don and Autumn, i decided to head to the Nehalan Bay State Park on the ocean so that I can make some time to get down to San Francisco for Donner 's sitting for his official portrait on Friday.
The weather this week is supposed to be absolutely gorgeous, as it is today. Weather does not get any better than this.
This park is fantastic for many reasons but the main one is, there are dogs all over. Donner more than met his quota of dogs here, including Scrappy, Pops and Lily, Buckley and Nikki's dog, whose name I just forgot.
The road beckons.
