Day 18 photos

Top photo...After we left the Tetons, i stopped in Jackson Wyoming so i could take a welcomed shower at their superb recreation center we then set out for Idaho Falls, 80 some miles away. The weather was just foul all the way, heavy rain and wind.
Bottom photo...After getting the Defender expertly serviced at a very convenient Jiffy Lube in Idaho Falls, we set off for Craters of the Moon 84 miles away. The foul weather  worsened. I bought Donner a special dinner in the small, isolated town of Arco 18 miles from the camp just in case weather conditions at the camp were such that i would be in no mood or condition to make either of us our regular dinner. Then, ten or so miles down the remote road the heavy rain turned to heavy  snow at the exact instant we passed a sign that said, Blizzard  Mountain Road. How spooky that was. Then, my worst fears materialized.
