Here is an unreadable image of my To-Do list. Page 1 is what remains: the light blue items are desk-work and the yellow items are packing. This is not the final packing, though. What I do is set up stations around my apartment for the different containers and toss everything in them that I might want to take. Then, the day or so before I leave, I go through the containers to make sure that I forgot nothing and to toss out those things I decide not to take. I keep a separate list going with reminders to add or remove things to the To-Take list as well as other things. Eventually, all these things will come together and I will be off.
One thing that is slowing me down somewhat is that Donner knows that something is up, and he is afraid I am going to leave him behind. Yea, like I would do that. Just as he doesn’t let me out of his sight now, I, too, do not let him out of my sight on the road.
